How does the Chi Reading list work?

Rather than give you a list, we have installed an Amazon Books section here that allows you not only to see the books on the list but to read recommendations and other information about the books, and to order them as well.  When you click on any particular book, you may order a new copy or go to the used copy section.

When you choose to order through the Chi Reading page, a small portion of your book fee to Amazon is returned to the Nam Hoa Association. We use this income to support our association expenses and this website is one of those expenses. For this to occur, you must reach the Amazon site through the Nam Hoa website.

Thank you for your support and we hope you enjoy the reading.

About the Categories-

Please note that our site is a work in progress (all done by volunteers) and we continually add or change the material. So we suggest that you view the pages often, especially the Chi Reading section as Master Jim or others may be recommending new books and the list will change.

For now we have several categories.  The number and depth of books written on the ancient arts is formidible! A new student can become overwhelmed quickly. We recomend students read all the books from the Beginner Student Reading list before moving on to the Advanced Student Reading list.

The beginning and advanced categories include information on the cosmology (philosophy and history) as well as books specific to the exercise or meditation aspects of the internal arts.  Other categories exist to help you locate information on other areas of interest.

Please do offer your comments on the books.  Also, if you would like to recommend a book for reading, please send your recommendation to Teacher Jude at jude@namhoa-internal-arts.com

Please note we are seeking a volunteer to work with the Amazon page, please see the "Service Opportunities" section under the student section (not viewable by the public) and read the information on the Librarian.
