To serve is a privilege and very rewarding....

In ancient times it started with one person who wished to share his internal art. From this sharing an internal arts community was born. For many today it is still about sharing the art. But for a Tai Chi community to flourish beyond the classroom, there must be individuals who are willing to bring their individual talents to support the instructors (like the people who built this website or organized an event or cleaned your classroom). In ancient time, as today, service to the lineage holder of the particular style of Qigong or Tai Chi was and is a privilege.

If you would like to join the many individuals who support the Nam Hoa Temple of Internal Arts Association and our Qigong Tai Chi Master, Master Jim Scott-Behrends, you can take one of two actions. One, you can contact your local instructor who will note your desire to help to the appropriate person in your area, or you can contact Teacher Jude through this website who will direct you to the correct person. You may choose to volunteer at the local level or at the association level.

At the associate level, there are some opportunites available for those who wish to make a difference for their fellow students, instructors and guides. They are listed below. Please contact Teacher Jude at jude@namhoa-internal-arts.comfor more information. Thank you in advance for your service.

One special note... it is the responsibility of the volunteer to say yes or no to each aspect of the task. Saying yes means completing the task on time or letting someone know you can't do it in time for someone else to complete it. Saying no means not allowing yourself to become overwhelmed with tasks and then not enjoy the experience. Please remember the spirit of our practice is joyfulness.
